Hi! My name is Kristy Bergin and I'm a Family History & DNA Consultant,

Here at Family Tree Discoveries, we are passionate about helping you discover the answers to your family history questions and going on an adventure with you to uncover long-lost family secrets.  By putting your stories into context with past history events and lifestyles, and displayed in unique formats and keepsakes, we know they will be shared by loved ones and become a part of history for future generations.

I've always been curious about who my ancestors were and how my path in life arrived at this point.  Now with a Diploma in Family History, DNA Research Skills, a background as a Life Coach and years of research and database experience, I am passionate and ready to help you connect with your history in meaningful and lasting ways.

Family History Research has entered an exciting new phase in recent times. Thanks to digitization, hours spent scouring dusty files in archive basements is no longer the only way to research. New (old!) historical documents are uploaded to the internet each and every day, making access to records of all kinds, and from all places, easier than ever.  Meanwhile, DNA testing is constantly breaking new ground, allowing discoveries never before possible.  

I believe that everyone deserves to know their story, and that uncovering the secrets of the past can help us with our direction moving forward.
